Subwaze is built on the idea that information is liberation. We want to empower NYC riders by making the MTA system more transparent.
Calling out overpolicing is our way of fighting against injustice. Knowing what’s coming lets you ride smarter. And having each other’s backs builds trust within unjust systems. Subwaze is an app for riders, done by riders.
This was a solo project done in FIT’s sophomore capstone course.

Third Space is a non profit organization I conceptualized with group members Mya Polanco, Alma Nicole-Sossa, and Emily Diniz during FIT’s sophomore capstone course.
The organization centers around empathy as charity, and aims to organize events where empathy can be actionable and accessible. Such events included an intergenerational tech swap, where older generations taught young people how to use rotary phones and younger generations showed the older ones to open new tabs on safari.
For this project, I oversaw the website animation, a tactile activity calendar, and postcards.
